DIALM is a telephone dialing program which features built in editing
of its phone number files. Each file can hold up to 200 entries.
Multiple data files can be easily accessed. The program also features
rapid searching of the directory file, selection of tone or pulse dialing
and demon (attack) dialing, where a busy number is automatically redialed.
Each call can be logged to a file containing the date, time and length
of the call.
DIALM was originally written as an exercise in programming for the mouse.
Effective use of the mouse is still a major objective of version 5.1,
but a mouse is not required and the program works well without one.
Several popup menu windows and "123" type menus are used which make
it quite easy to use the program.
Version 5.1 uses a different mouse action which makes it much easer to
use. A bug which occurred with certain modems was also corrected.
Recent additions to the program are a calendar which can be popped up
from the main menu or the logging screen and an optional screen blanking
function.
